About Us - Principal's Message

1.    Ashutosh Army Goodwill School at Budkot, Handwara is a  welfare  oriented  institution  run  by 21 RR (GUARDS) as part of Sadhbhavana Projects. The AAGS is nurturing young minds of RAJWAR for past fifteen years now and counted in the list of top schools of District Kupwara with a belief of educating students to empower, enlighten and help them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the future. Our constant endeavour at the school is to provide quality learning resources  and  facilities  for  our  students  at  an  affordable  cost.  We believe in all round development, so besides imparting knowledge our students, we polish their social skills as well. Accordingly, each year, we conduct a number of events to boost their confidence and skills.

2.    During the past few years, our students have been under the spotlight may times, with a number of students achieving success in writing competitions, quiz competitions, sports and art. We have always stood straight to instill students with knowledge in every unfortunate situation and made all possible efforts to reach out to students during the unrest of years 2008-10, 2016, after abrogation of 370 and during pandemic times.

3.    At the end, I would like to extend my compliments to our incredible staff for their hard work and also extend a heartfelt gratitude to the parents’ fraternity for reposing faith and trust in the institution.

4.    To students.You are capable of more than you know. Choose goals that are close to your heart and strive to be the best, however hard the path. Aim high, behave honorably and prepare to be alone at times and to endure failures as well. Persist! The world needs all you can give.
